Lena Lundy Carico, age 84, passed away at Golden Living Center-Blue Ridge of Galax, January 25, 2010. She was born to the late Etta Brady Lundy & James Lundy on September 15, 1925.
Survivors are one daughter, Peg Steiner & husband, Bill of Asheville, NC; one son John Carico & wife, Karen of Richmond, VA; one sister Janice Burriss of Galax; one brother Bobby Lundy & wife, Hazel of Baltimore, MD and one grandchild, Max Carico of Richmond, VA.
A visitation will be held Tuesday evening, January 26, 2010 from 6pm – 8pm at Twin County Funerals. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2010 in the Twin County Funerals Sanctuary beginning at 11am. The Rev. Bob Adams will be officiating. Interment will follow at Monta Vista Memorial Gardens, Galax.
