Robert Roark, age 54, of Galax passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Twin County Regional Hospital. He was born May 28, 1955 to the late Garland Willis Roark & Dorothy Marie Barbour Roark in Danville, VA. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, G.W. and Brenda Roark of Sparta, NC; three sisters and brothers-in-laws, Kathy and Marciano Martinez of Crumpler, NC, Darlene and George Lira of Morgantown, NC, Lisa and Antonio Gonzalez of Laural Springs, NC; two special friends, Donna Sumner and Rosetta Edwards both of Galax. Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 3:00PM in the Twin County Funerals Sanctuary with the Pastor Doug Combs and Evangelist David Baumgardner officiating. Twin County Funerals is serving the Roark family.
